Jobsearch Directory Listings

In order to be sure you are searching all the main jobs boards, it is helpful to have a list of these. A good place to find such a list is in web directories, such as Google, Yahoo! and the Open Directory:

It's helpful to be able to locate the main jobs boards for the country in which you are job hunting. Here are the relevant pages for the UK:
I would encourage you to locate the directory pages that apply to your country.

When searching each of the main jobs boards, it is a good idea to set up a profile and upload your CV / Resume, as then the employers and recruitment companies can find you!

You will notice that there are a variety of types of sites listed, as well as the main jobs boards. There are specialist sites, and also some more unusual sites for bringing employers and potential employees together. It's worth investigating these different sites, in order to find new and more creative ways of putting your skills and talents before an employer.
